Qualifying heats for the Men's 100m were held at the National Stadium on day seven of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games on August 15, 2008 in Beijing, China. Tyson Gay of the United States finished the event in first place in a time of 10.22 seconds.

It ain't so pretty from this angle.....
Here's a pic of the Japanese Synchronized Swimming Team practicing in Beijing. The sport doesn't look so cool when you see it underwater. Just looks like a bunch of people scattering during a backyard "Marco Polo" swimming game.
