Blog:  Stanford's Alicia Follmar fell during the leadoff leg the Penn women's distance medley.  While she was trying to get up, she took a spike to the head.  She was able to get up and help her team finish 3rd.

Runners add a dash of fitness to school day

Body suit puts Muslim girl out of the running

Blog:  What do you think about this?  She wore the same outfit for 3 years without any problems.

A high school student who has the fastest mile and two-mile times of any girl runner in Washington DC in recent times has been disqualified from a local indoor track-and-field competition after officials said her Muslim clothing violated national competition rules.

Juashaunna Kelly, a devout Muslim, was wearing the same uniform she has worn for the past three seasons while running for her school's cross-country and track teams: a custom-made, one-piece, blue and orange unitard that covers her head, arms, torso and legs.
