Running skirts: Would you wear one?

Blog:  I didn't write this article.  Just posting it for the ladies out there.

Article:  I'm not going to beat around the bush: I take issue with running skirts. I am all about looking and feeling stronger and tougher when I run, and wearing a skirt just sounds like the opposite of that. I wear a skirt or dress almost every day to work, but I can't say I've ever wanted to feel "pretty" or "feminine" during a hard workout.

When cotton is rotten, wicking attire keeps its cool

Blog:  This isn't news to seasoned runners  -- cotton sucks.  However, if you're still wearing cotton when you run, it's time to make the switch to clothing that doesn't stick to you when you sweat.

Running Hat Slideshow

Blog:   If you're interested in a new running hat, the New York Times created a slideshow/review of several types.  Think a running hat is just a pretty baseball cap?  Think again.  They wick sweat, decrease glare, reflect car headlights and even regulate head temperature.
